Kalenjin

Oral tradition was and still is very important among the Kalenjin. This is through stories, songs, proverbs, and riddles which in turn preserves their culture
Popular cuisine unique to the Kalenjin is a special beverage known as ‘Mursik’. This consists of fermented whole milk that has been stored in a special gourd, cleaned by using a burning stick. The result is that the milk is infused with tiny bits of charcoal.
Sports is a major interest point among the Kalenjin especially the youth. The most widely known sport among the Kalenjin being long distance marathons

The Turkana people ae involved in One of Kenya's top tourist attractions is the three-day festival held in June and takes place at Loiyangalani, Marsabit County. This festival features all nomadic communities in Northern Kenya.
The traditional clothing of the Turkana is very simple and consists in a cloth knotted on the shoulder, to form a sort of tunic, for men; while for women the dress is made from two pieces of cloth or leather wrapped around their waist and chest.
The Turkana have also very elaborate hairstyles, in particular women shave the hair on the sides of the head while in the center intertwine them and enrich them with a coat of beads and feathers; while as a fixative for the hairstyle they use animal fat and wood ash mixed together.

Most of the somali community in Kenya are known for their pastoral way of life and in modern days they have ventured more into businesses

Somali men typically wear the macawis (ma'awiis), which is a sarong-like garment worn around the waist and a large cloth wrapped around the upper part of their body. On their heads, they often wrap a colorful turban. Somali women typically wear baatiwhich isa long dress-like wear that is made out of polyester. They often wear headwrap or Hijabs in compliance with their Islamic beliefs.
Additionally, henna is an important part of Somali adornment. It is worn by Somali women on their hands, arms, feet and neck during weddings, Eid, Ramadan, and other festive occasions.
Somali weddings are filled with Pomp and colour with the bride being adorned in gold
