The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA) is making a strong impact at the ongoing Changamka Festival at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), where the Agency is showcasing Kenya’s finest locally made products under the MakeItKenya initiative.
During his visit to the Make It Kenya booth, Dr. Juma Mukhwana, CBS, Principal Secretary for the State Department for Industry (MITI), interacted with #MadeInKenya adoptees and commended their role in advancing Kenya’s manufacturing, innovation, and export growth. He took time to learn about the diverse range of products on display from handcrafted goods and natural skincare to food innovations and value-added industrial products all proudly bearing the Made in Kenya mark.
KEPROBA’s participation at the Changamka Festival has played a crucial role in creating valuable market linkages for Made in Kenya enterprises. Through product exhibitions, demonstrations, and business networking sessions, local manufacturers have connected with potential buyers, distributors, and partners from both domestic and international markets. Many exhibitors have reported heightened visibility, increased inquiries, and new commercial leads resulting directly from the festival.
The Changamka Festival continues to serve as a national celebration of Kenya’s creativity, craftsmanship, and manufacturing potential. KEPROBA’s active engagement ensures that local innovators not only showcase their products but also build long-term opportunities that strengthen Kenya’s export ecosystem.
With the festival attracting thousands of visitors, KEPROBA remains committed to empowering Made In Kenya adoptees and championing Kenyan brands on the global stage.
