Strengthening Kenya–Korea Business Ties

The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA) today hosted a high-level business delegation from the Republic of Korea in a strategic engagement aimed at deepening trade and investment relations between the two nations.

The meeting brought together senior representatives from government and the private sector, creating a dynamic platform for dialogue on emerging opportunities in manufacturing, technology, agriculture, renewable energy, healthcare, and other high-potential sectors. Through these conversations, both sides explored avenues to strengthen commercial partnerships, drive innovation, and support value addition across Kenya’s production landscape.

KEPROBA emphasized Kenya’s competitive advantages  including its strategic location, skilled workforce, improving investment climate, and growing manufacturing base positioning the country as a natural gateway for Korean enterprises seeking to access African markets.

The Korean delegation also expressed strong interest in collaborating on technology transfer, industrial capacity building, and trade expansion, recognizing Kenya as a key partner for sustainable and mutually beneficial growth.

This engagement reaffirms the shared commitment of Kenya and the Republic of Korea to advancing economic cooperation, promoting export-led development, and unlocking new opportunities for businesses in both countries. As KEPROBA continues to champion market access and international partnerships, today’s dialogue marks another significant step toward shaping a prosperous Kenya–Korea future.
