KEPROBA Shines at the 25th EAC MSMEs Trade Fair, Championing the #MadeInKenya Mark

The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA) proudly participated in the 25th EAC MSMEs Trade Fair at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi, where it took center stage in promoting the adoption of the “Made in Kenya” mark, a seal of quality, authenticity, and national pride.

Throughout the fair, KEPROBA actively engaged MSMEs, encouraging them to align their products with the national mark to boost credibility and market visibility. The response was overwhelming, with exhibitors and visitors showing strong interest in embracing the mark as a pathway to expanded local, regional, and international markets.

KEPROBA’s booth quickly emerged as a focal point of activity, offering business counselling, export-readiness guidance, and brand development support. Entrepreneurs flocked to the stand seeking expert insights to elevate their competitiveness and strengthen their brand identity.

Across the exhibition, enterprises already certified under the #MadeInKenya program proudly showcased their products from textiles and crafts to agro-processed goods demonstrating the creativity, resilience, and innovation driving Kenya’s manufacturing and SME sectors.

The event was officially opened by H.E. President William Ruto, who reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to deepening regional integration, supporting innovation, and fostering inclusive economic growth across the East African Community. His call to empower MSMEs aligned seamlessly with KEPROBA’s mission to uplift local producers and position Kenyan products on the global stage.

KEPROBA’s participation not only amplified the visibility of the “Made in Kenya” mark but also strengthened partnerships and conversations around building a stronger, more competitive MSME ecosystem in Kenya and the wider region.
