Kenya to host the fourth edition of the Absa Kip Keino Classic Continental Tour

Kenya will host the fourth edition of the Absa Kip Keino Classic Continental Tour on Saturday 13th May 2023 in the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in Nairobi. The Kip Keino Classic is known for attracting top brass athletes from Africa and across the world.

Jamaican sprinter and Olympic Champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will be competing against Kenya’s Maximilla Imali to retain her Kip Keino Classic crown in the women’s 100m while American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson will be competing in the 200m and is set to continue with her Diamond League form. aims to carry on her exceptional performance in the 200m following her Diamond League debut in Doha.

Kenya’s and Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala will be competing in the men’s 100-meter sprint, which features American rivals Marvin Bracy and Kenneth Bednarek.

The Kip Keino classic places Kenya as an ideal sporting destination besides promoting tourism and placing the Kenyan Brand in International Media. Kenya is known for record breaking athletes in various competitions most notably the Marathon and the Steeplechase where Kenyan athletes reign supreme.
