The Financing Agri-Food Systems Sustainably (FINAS) dialogue has evolved from a national initiative into a continental platform driving solutions for agrifinance.
FINAS 2024 spotlighted urgent priorities such as de-risking investments, expanding credit access for smallholder farmers, and piloting innovative financing tools. FINAS 2025 (Continental Platform) broadened this focus to resilient and inclusive financing structures, addressing Africa’s financing gap through enhanced coordination, digitalization, and climate adaptation.
FINAS 2026 seeks to build on these gains by advancing a sustainable financial architecture that effectively links capital flows to policy, trade, and investment frameworks.
FINAS 2026 will take place from 30th June to 2nd July 2026 in Nairobi.

The 2026 theme builds on the foundations laid in 2024 and 2025, responding to the growing demand for an inclusive, investment-driven food systems finance architecture that bridges systemic funding gaps, strengthens intra-African trade, and embeds resilience, digitalization, and climate-smart principles.
