The 57th edition of the Algiers International Fair (Foire Internationale d'Alger – FIA 2026) will take place from 22 to 27 June 2026 at the Palais des Expositions in Pins Maritimes, Algiers. The fair is organized by Algeria Exhibitions, a subsidiary of SAFEX (Société Algérienne des Foires et Exportations), with the Kingdom of Spain serving as the Guest of Honour for the 2026 edition.
The Algiers International Fair (FIA) is Algeria’s premier multisectoral trade exhibition and one of the most significant economic events on the African continent. Now in its 57th edition, the FIA has evolved into a strategic annual platform that brings together leading Algerian and international companies, investors, policymakers, diplomats, and trade institutions under one roof.
Organized under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the fair serves a dual purpose: showcasing the productive capacity of the Algerian economy while positioning Algeria as a regional hub for trade, investment, and industrial partnerships. The Algerian government has increasingly used the fair as a platform to signal economic reform momentum, attract foreign direct investment, and advance the national objective of achieving USD 30 billion in non-hydrocarbon exports by 2030.
The 56th edition, held in 2025, recorded participation from 684 companies, representing a 42% increase since 2022, highlighting the event’s rapidly expanding regional and international influence. The 2026 edition continues to promote the broader theme of deepening economic partnerships and sustainable cooperation between Algeria and its global trading partners. Although the official slogan for FIA 2026 had not yet been formally announced at the time of this brief, the event continues to build on the themes championed during previous editions.
Key Thematic Activities & Programme
The 57th Algiers International Fair will feature an extensive programme of business and knowledge-sharing activities designed to support exhibitors, investors, and professional visitors. Structured business-to-business (B2B) meetings will be organized throughout the six-day event, facilitating direct engagement between Algerian buyers and international suppliers, as well as between Algerian exporters and foreign importers.
In parallel with the exhibition, a comprehensive programme of conferences, seminars, and expert forums will address themes including industrial diversification, investment promotion in non-hydrocarbon sectors, export facilitation, and market entry strategies for the Algerian and wider African markets.
Interactive workshops will provide practical guidance on investment frameworks, regulatory compliance, and partnership structuring within the Algerian business environment.
Dedicated direct-sales spaces will also allow exhibitors to engage directly with consumers, providing opportunities to test products, generate immediate sales, and strengthen brand visibility.
In addition, the fair is expected to host diplomatic receptions, investment roundtables, and government-to-government meetings involving embassies, trade promotion agencies, and international business delegations.

Algeria Market Context — Why Participate?
Algeria is Africa’s largest country by land area and has a population exceeding 46 million people, providing a substantial consumer market with increasing purchasing power. The country is actively pursuing economic diversification beyond hydrocarbons through investment reforms aimed at attracting greater foreign direct investment from Europe, Asia, the Gulf region, and Africa.
Strategically located between North Africa, West Africa, and the Mediterranean, Algeria offers investors and exporters access to wider African supply chains, particularly under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework.
The record participation levels recorded during the 2025 edition signal rising investor confidence in the Algerian market and underscore the FIA’s role as a key platform for commercial engagement and partnership development.
Participation Formats & Options
International participants may take part in FIA 2026 through several participation formats.
Companies may register for individual exhibition stands within the international pavilion area. Given the strong demand recorded in recent editions, early registration is strongly encouraged.
Embassies, chambers of commerce, and trade promotion agencies may also organize national collective pavilions, allowing companies from the same country to exhibit under a unified national platform while reducing participation costs and enhancing national visibility.
Non-exhibiting delegates may register as professional visitors to participate in the B2B programme, seminars, workshops, and networking activities without booking exhibition space.
SAFEX provides logistical support services for international exhibitors, including stand construction assistance, customs facilitation, promotional support, and access to the fair’s B2B matchmaking platform.
